LiNbO3 single crystal

    Lithium niobate crystal has excellent electro-optic, acousto-optic, piezoelectric and nonlinear properties, which can be widely used in civil and military fields. With the development of photoelectric technology, more and more attention has been paid on the application of lithium niobate crystals in national defense technology. LiNbO3 crystal is a special multifunctional crystal, which has good nonlinear properties. The nonlinear optical coefficient is large and the non-critical phase matching can be achieved by the LiNbO3 crystal. As an electro-optic crystal, it has been used as an important optical waveguide material. As a piezoelectric crystal, it can be used in the production of low-frequency SAW filter, high-power high-temperature ultrasonic transducer and so on. The doped lithium niobate materials can also be used widely. Mg:LN crystal can greatly improve the laser damage threshold and promote the application of lithium niobate crystal in nonlinear optical field. Nd:Mg:LN crystal can realize the frequency doubling effect. Fe:LN crystal can be used in the optical volume holographic storage system.
